Small Stream 04-09
Antonio and I decided it would be a great day to go fishing because we finally had some good weather. We went to a little honey hole up on the Rim I had been telling him about for a while with great anticipation. At the first hole I landed two Brookies and a very well fed brown about 16 inches. With that sudden boost of confidence we headed farther downstream. About a quarter mile downstream and with the sun just beginning to shine in the little canyon the bite turned on. We landed thre Browns out of one hole, then another.... We ended up going about three miles in through some pretty thick stuff with pocket water resembling that of the Catskills... It was a gorgeous day and together we landed about 30 Browns and those two Brookies.
